Cross Country Skiing in Les Portes du Soleil

The Vallée d'Abondance is one of the most beautiful areas for cross country skiing, the Haute-Savoie.

Loops of 5, 10, 15, 25 and 35 km enable liaisons with the neighbouring resorts of Abondance and Chatel.

Along the river La Dranse you discover the beauty of the mountains in winter and find the famous route of the Chapellane. La Chapelle d'Abondance is a member of the Nordic Haute-Savoie (HSN).

Prices cross country skiing

Owners of a valid ski pass for La Chapelle d'Abondance have free access to the cross country trails and bus service.

If you don’t have a ski pass, you can buy tickets for the cross country trails at Braitaz and Cret-Beni (closest to the hotel), the Tourist Information Office of La Chapelle and the Ski school ESF La Chapelle d’Abondance.

Adult: € 6
Youth (6 to 16 years): € 2,50
Half price: € 3 (on presentation of a season pass of membership of Northern France)
Weekly Pass: € 28 (valid on all member sites of Nordic Haute Savoie)

With a "Departmental season pass (Nordic Pass'74)":

Adult: € 75
Junior: € 23 (valid on all sites HSN, entitles 50% discount on tickets meeting to members of other sites of Northern France and members of Romandie Cross Country)

Domestic season pass (Pass Nordic National):

Adult: € 150
Youth (6 to 16 years): € 30 (valid on all member sites in Northern France, except the department of Isere)
