Restaurant

From the reception area, you reach our charming restaurant, where breakfast and dinner are served daily. The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the Vallée d’Abondance and is bathed in sun nearly the entire day.

Menu du Jour

In the kitchen at Esprit Montagne, we like to work with fresh, regional products. Many of our products come directly from local farmers. For example, we get our Abondance cheese at the Chalets the Mouet, the goat cheese from La Ferme de la Lanche and we get the other cheeses at La Fruitière des Neiges. We get our meats from our butcher, Royal Viande, and the delicious Swiss cheese fondue and Fontal cheese at Vieux Fromage from Collombey. Each day, Leman Primeurs delivers fresh vegetables and bakery Le Fournil provides fresh baked bread. In the summer, Chef Adi gets all his herbs and flowers from our own herb garden, and the plums and apples from the garden are used and made into jams or eau de vie.

Are you not a guest at our hotel, but would you nevertheless like to have lunch or dinner at our restaurant? No problem! If you make reservations at least a day in advance , we will ensure that a delicious Menu du Jour is waiting for you for €30 per person (excluding holidays).

A good start to the day

Every morning between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., an extensive breakfast buffet awaits you. Here, among other things, we serve croissants and coffee rolls, various artisanal breads, several types of cheese and cured meats, various types of jam, honey, real butter, boiled eggs, yoghurt, a range of cereals, milk, Nespresso coffee, tea, fruit juices and fresh fruit. By request, we can prepare a packed lunch for you.

Dinner

In the evening, it’s time to dig into a delicious three-course gourmet dinner with various fresh seasonal products from our region. Many of our dishes are based on traditional recipes that have been used for centuries in mountain kitchens. Moreover, you will get to know the kept secret in the Alps: its wines. We have a wonderful selection of exceptional alpine wines. Of course, we also serve a few of the more popular wines.

A small Product Encyclopedia is placed on every table. In the encyclopedia, you can read all about our products and ingredients, the traditions of yesteryear and remarkable anecdotes about our authentic mountain dishes. The first page always presents the day’s menu. At the back of the menu, you will find the Wine List and Beverage List, with all of those tasty alpine wines from around Mont Blanc. Are you really a wine lover, ask for our Special Wine List.
