Stéphanie joined the housekeeping team in the summer of 2016. Careful cleaning, making herself useful, contact with the guests and their gratitude for the good cleaning are very important to her. She likes to arrange everything down to the smallest detail. She also enjoys the nice atmosphere with the rest of the team. At home, she enjoys spending time in the kitchen baking cake and goes on hikes with her family. Outside the season, she helps us with random household tasks, and of course getting the hotel ready again for a new season.

Hi, I’m Adi Jeng. I envision creating new dishes in which I am inspired by the natural environment, which is so beautiful here. But also embellishing existing classics and preparing them with the greatest care can appeal to me. In my spare moments I really enjoy going up the mountain and being amazed by all that beauty around me. Back down in the valley I would very much like to surprise you and let you enjoy my cooking skills. Hopefully see you soon and will we experience many culinary seasons together.

In 2017 I exchanged Rotterdam for the French mountains and since 2021 I’m part of the team of hotel ‘Mountain Spirit’ (Esprit Montagne) in the beautiful village ‘the chapel of abundance’ (La Chapelle d’Abondance). Just the names already appeal to the imagination, don’t they?

Life here with so much natural beauty, endless paths and peace around us, which we can enjoy endlessly every day, is wealth for me. Being able to share that with you, our guests, makes the experience even a bit richer for me. I look forward to our meeting with enthusiasm and would like to make it a beautiful, unforgettable summer with you and the team.

Hi, I’m Margot. I am a big lover of the mountains and different mountain sports. My interest in the mountains ranges from the origin of the rocks to getting to know the most beautiful routes and areas to enjoy sports and go out on my own. It therefore regularly happens that I stop during a trip in the summer to take a look at the minerals and structures in the rocks around me. Coming winter it will be a bit more difficult with a lot of snow on it, but I’m looking forward to that too!

As part of Team Esprit Montagne I hope to be able to contribute to a great time in the mountains for the guests and to give them the same special feeling as I always experience during a holiday in the mountains.

Hi hi, I’m Ewoud and I’m 23 years old. In January 2022 I started at Hotel Esprit Montagne.

I already knew the hotel from the summers before through the EMI running weeks that Alke organizes, then I immediately fell in love with the surroundings and atmosphere of the hotel. I myself mainly run fast through the mountains and I also like to cycle around.

I would like to welcome you to the hotel this summer and I would like to give advice about all the beautiful different wines we have on the menu, hopefully see you soon!

Hey! I’m Elke, I’m from Belgium, and I have a heart for the mountains.

I prefer to put on my running shoes and disappear into nature for a few hours. Otherwise you will find me in front of a big plate of good food, on a bike or in the company of some animal.
After a six-year career as a professional food waste fighter, I am looking forward to my new mission: to give all the guests of Esprit Montagne an unforgettable stay in the mountains. See you soon!

Hello, I’m Hans, as an adventurer I’m constantly looking for new destinations to explore, whether it’s an exotic location or a cold mountain hike. When the snow falls, I want to get on my snowboard as quickly as possible. As a cook, I attach great importance to using seasonal products and local ingredients. My culinary travels have given me both classic and modern kitchen experience, so I like to be inspired by different influences. Let’s go on a journey of discovery and experience great experiences together.
