Team

Stéphanie
Housekeeping
Stéphanie joined the housekeeping team in the summer of 2016. Careful cleaning, making herself useful, contact with the guests and their gratitude for the good cleaning are very important to her. She likes to arrange everything down to the smallest detail. She also enjoys the nice atmosphere with the rest of the team.
At home, she enjoys spending time in the kitchen baking cake and goes on hikes with her family. Outside the season, she helps us with random household tasks, and of course getting the hotel ready again for a new season.

Adi
Chef Cook
Hi, I’m Adi Jeng.
I envision creating new dishes in which I am inspired by the natural environment, which is so beautiful here. But also embellishing existing classics and preparing them with the greatest care can appeal to me. In my spare moments I really enjoy going up the mountain and being amazed by all that beauty around me. Back down in the valley I would very much like to surprise you and let you enjoy my cooking skills. Hopefully see you soon and will we experience many culinary seasons together.

Ewoud
Restaurant Manager
Bonjour!
Some of the guests will already know me, because I worked at this beautiful place for 5 seasons a while ago. I have now returned to the Netherlands to do something else in terms of work, which I really enjoyed, but you only know what you are missing when you no longer have it. In my case it’s the mountains! Whether it’s ski touring, running, cycling or downhill skiing, I enjoy it all.
The people who know me better also call me Eetwoud, but my name is Ewoud. Especially because I’m always hungry because of all the sports. If you want to make me or secretly the entire team happy, bring something delicious from your country!
See you soon at the hotel.

Tânia
Housekeeping
Hello…Ola! My name is Tânia, I am Brazilian and I have been living in the beautiful Abondance Valley with my family since 2021!
I love nature so much. And I also love people, smiles, traveling and new stories. I am also a practitioner of facial massages and energy therapies.
I am very happy to be part of the Esprit Montagne Team and I am looking forward to the wonderful season that awaits us! The hotel radiates an incredible energy!
We are waiting for you, see you soon!

Kees
Waiter
Hello, I’m Kees!
Living in my fire brigade van, I travel through Europe to play in the mountains and sea every day. After a beautiful winter season and a bit of summer, it is time to return to Esprit Montagne.
I look forward to receiving all the well-known and new guests and having fun on the slopes for another season. The fire brigade will be present again!

Stijn
Upcoming Chef
Hi, I’m Stijn.
After years of working in various kitchens, from city to village bistro, I felt it was time for something new. As a private chef in people’s homes, I learned how special it is to truly connect with food, to bring something personal.
After a period of traveling in our campervan with my girlfriend Roos, it was time to create some stability again. I found that at Esprit Montagne. This winter season, I’m working alongside Chef Adi, getting to know the hotel and understanding how everything comes together in the kitchen and the guest experience. This way, I can follow his lead as effectively as possible starting this summer.
For me, cooking is about connection. Whether it’s after a day on the slopes or during a quiet evening in the valley, good food brings people together. I want to continue to cultivate that feeling here.

Roos
Waitress
Hey, I’m Roos!
I’m really looking forward to working in the mountains this winter season and meeting new people.
My boyfriend Stijn and I have traveled around in our camper van before, and now I’m enthusiastically starting a new chapter at the restaurant. This will also be my first time snowboarding—wish me luck on the slopes!

Kate
Waitress
Hi, I’m Kate.
I’m from Gouda and I’m really looking forward to working at Hotel Esprit Montagne next season. I’ve enjoyed working in an outdoor sports shop for the past two years and was eager to spend a season working in the mountains. I’m an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoy a bit of everything, and I truly enjoy the mountains.
Walking, cycling, skiing, or enjoying a cup of coffee on the terrace. I hope I can share that passion and you’ll enjoy it as much as I do.

Alicia
Housekeeping
Hello!
I’m Alicia, creative and curious, and I wanted to spend a winter at the beautiful Hôtel d’Esprit Montagne.
The cheerful atmosphere and team spirit will allow me—once the work is done!—to peacefully devote my free time to my passions: writing and illustration.
I’m looking forward to this season and the wonderful encounters I’ll make there!
